The Mouldflo Monitoring System protects your moulds and improves the quality of your production, by quickly identifying cooling complications.
The system monitors temperature, pressure and flow on the cooling circuits within the mould, using our intelligent manifolds, mounted directly on the machine. This gives you vital information of your machines and helps you improve your production value as well as protect your moulds.
The system is easy to install and it is compatible with almost any type of injection moulding machine. Furthermore, it can be integrated directly into your central data system.
Automated quality assurance
The system uses automated alarm functions to warn you whenever any issues arises and when vital parameters differs from your preferred machine settings. This means that the system works as a watchdog of various common cooling circuit problems, such as:
- No water flow from the mould heater
- Blocked waterways
- Scale / rust build up
- Incorrect piping
Agile solution tailored to your needs
The monitoring system is very agile and can be adjusted to your needs as they arises over time and as your production grows. Multiple manifolds can be electronically 'daisy-chained' together to accommodate the necessary number of cooling channels. The system will automatically identify 'new' manifolds and display them on the screen, meaning that the system can be expanded even after the first installation.
How does the Mouldflo system differ?
Traditionally the most common method for monitoring the cooling circuits within a mould has been water flow regulators. However, flow regulators suffer from several inherent problems that Mouldflo deals with:

The intelligent manifolds
We have developed a diverse range of manifolds, in order to accommodate any type of injection moulding production. The Mouldflo manifolds are available in either aluminium or stainless steel and with 4, 8 or 12 circuit ports and can operate with cooling water up to 120oC.
